what to do when your PC cannot discover or respond to your phone or USB connected device

                                                                                                           

In many cases that it happens that your PC or Laptop is not responsive to a USB connected device or better said it does not display a prompt menu or notification for the connected device.

Awfully, a check for it in the file explorer was no difference. Don’t panic the solution is at your desk you don’t need to call for an engineer just follow the instruction below carefully.

1 Right click on the windows from your task bar and select device manager or click on your file explorer, on system properties and finally click on your device manager.

2 When the device manger has been clicked, the image shown below appear on your screen.What you need to take care of is in ‘other devices’ below which you will find the unresponsive device say your mobile phone. Right click on the device, disable the device by clicking on disable.

3 Right click your device again as done earlier but click on ‘update driver software’ from

There click on

                          ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ 

4 Thus click on ‘Let me pick from a list of device on my computer’ and finally select your

device tagged with USB
